Gardners Inn features a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The restaurant on-site serves delicious meals, and I particularly enjoyed the Friday karaoke at the bar, which created a fun vibe. the room's temperature was challenging. the absence of A/C made it quite cold. The electric blanket on the double bed only worked on one side, making sleep uncomfortable. The bathroom was small, and the facilities needed some upkeep. I encountered a waiting issue during check-in. staff walked by me without acknowledgment, creating an awkward moment.

The creamy delights at Gardners Inn blew my mind! Special shout-out to the incredible meals served downstairs, where the hearth's warmth complemented dinner perfectly. The live tunes on Saturday night added an extra spark to the cozy lounge, making it a fab spot to unwind with friends after a day of exploring Blackheath's scenic trails.
A cheeky note about the lack of a spare blanket and the electric blanket situation not quite cutting it left me a bit chilly—would've loved a heads-up to save me a late-night scramble. the old style building meant the late music from the bar below could be heard, which might disrupt your snooze a tad.

Gardners Inn offers remarkable service from the staff.
During my stay, the noise levels were unbearable. On both nights, guests were loud and disrespectful, running through the halls and shouting until the early hours. This made it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. the shared bathroom facilities were poorly maintained — on one occasion, I noticed a mess that had not been cleaned up, which was entirely unacceptable.

I had a lovely time here, especially enjoying the cozy single room and the super convenient shared bathroom. The garden area is fantastic for unwinding with a nice lemonade, and they even have some loungers to kick back on. The only bummer was the lack of a spare blanket, but it didn’t ruin my overall stay. ☀️
